Makeup should not be a replacement for good skincare. There are lots of people out there who think that piling on cosmetics can make up (pun intended!) for the fact that their skincare routine is lackluster (not unlike their own skin) or worse, practically nonexistent. Please. Stop. The. Madness.
Remember, if you're willing to invest in quality makeup and makeup accessories, please don't neglect the canvas that is your face. Cleanse, moisturize, treat, and protect it first before you go crazy trying to decorate it ;) Makeup products, trends, fads, etc. are a dime a dozen; you only have one gorgeous face, however, so treat and nourish it consistently while you still can. It's never too late to improve your skincare habits...so stop the facial neglect, stat!
This PSA has been brought to you by the letter K. Be KIND to your skin. Also, be beautifully blessed today and everyday...

Thank you...your wish is my command ;) I'll try to post something on skincare must-haves by the end of next week (hopefully sooner)!
ReplyDeleteHey, do you have any recommendations on sunscreen under the foundation to help protect the skin? In a very sunny area, I don't feel the SPF 15 in my foundation is enough..
ReplyDeleteHmm, well off the top of my head here are my top picks for facial sunscreens in random order: Drugstore--Aveeno, Neutrogena, Cerave; Dept. Store--Juice Beauty, Shiseido, Dr. Jart (high SPF in their BB creams). Does that help ya out? Let me know what you went with ;)
